This weekend, May 30th and 31st, variable winds and thunder showers are predicted for Saturday and sun with 6-8 mph for Sunday. 

I propose an informal race on Sunday with a 1:00 PM start proceeding from Lake Auman buoy #6 at the North end of Pine Island (PI) to buoy #9 off Joseph’s Point to buoy #12 at the Eastern point entering Otter cove and back to Pine Island at buoy #6 leaving all marks to port. Bert van Domselaar has volunteered to be safety boat (Thanks Bert!). Specification on start timing or other issues will be it out before 10:00 AM Sunday morning.
